Take a seat either in a chair or cross-legged on a cushion
And gradually become aware of the sensations
Feelings of pressure in your back or legs
And perhaps take a few deep breaths
Just feel the mere sensations associated with the breath
And now gradually become aware of the process of breathing
Notice where you feel the breath most distinctly
Or in the rising and falling of your abdomen
From the beginning of the inhalation, follow the exhalation to the end
Everything that you notice is arising in the same place of consciousness
Notice how it disappears
Place of consciousness
Or cross-legged on a cushion...
Few deep breaths...
Everything that you notice is arising in the same place of consciousness
And as you do this you can open your awareness to all sensation
There is nothing magical about the breath
So you can feel sensations in your body...
