Sometimes called "Get Up" or "Get Up! Go Insane!" these lyrics have been used, reused, remixed and abused that it is almost unbelievable. Most people think this is from a movie or something, but these profound words were actually scribed by a talented rapper and contemporary artist named Ithaka Darin Pappas from Los Angeles.

He recorded the song for the first time in 1994 for Underground Sound Of Lisbon (in Portugal) with members Dj Vibe and Rui Da Silva. A friend of mine in Europe told me he was not properly credited with the voice and lyrics although this was undeniably the selling feature of the track. Kind of weird considering he is quite famous for his other musical work and writings including his timeless hip hop groove "Escape From The City Of Angels".
