Yeah, I did put in a request to the dev. of foo_uie_lyrics3 (a leading lyric plugin for foobar atm) a few months ago http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=90338&view=findpost&p=835480 but no dice yet ...

Someone did make a script for it a few years ago but the link doesn't work and that was before the API so might very well be broken anyway

I see that it's mentioned a few times in different plugin topics on the forums, not sure if they've been added to any though... You could always try asking on the forums and include what other people have written and maybe you'll get lucky
